Denim: It’s back and better than ever. This time wear it head to toe, try a waistcoat & midaxi skirt co-ord, opt for a dress, or go for that classic shirt & jeans combo. Choose from a wide range of jeans silhouettes, from flare to wide leg to slim and everything in between. True blue is the most classic wash but go darker or lighter depending on your personal taste.
Depending on how you style it this trend can cross over into elevated every day, preppy and romance, so make sure you add some key pieces to keep your wardrobe fresh.
Preppy: Stripes are as synonymous with Spring as florals, and they lend themselves very well to this season’s preppy aesthetic.
Layering is key: shirts under knits, knits knotted over shoulders, sweaters over skirts.
Preppy also highlights some of the key colours this season: navy, blue, red & white.
And of course, denim & preppy go hand in hand.
Modern Romance: Think sheer fabrics, soft hues, florals, ruffles and bows – feminine, elegant, soft.
Pairs perfectly with denim, and also the elevated boho trend that is also closely linked to this one.
Elevated Everyday: Wearability continues to be at the forefront of fashion and this trend is all about wardrobe basics, but combined & styled in an elevated way. A continuation of the quiet luxury trend that took AW23/24 by storm, with influences from 90’s minimalism.
This trend crosses over into preppy, denim and latte dressing so work that wardrobe and get your monies worth out of every single item.
Latte: A great way to transition from winter into Spring/Summer, the warm creams and cafe au lait shades are less stark than bright summer whites and carry that touch of elegance. Similar to elevated everyday, this trend is all about simple, everyday pieces, styled with intention.
