We caught up with Natasha Crowley, Stylist and fashion expert extraodinaire, for her tips on Summer Sale shopping. Here are her recommendations for no regrets bargain hunting.

It’s easy to get lured in by the red signs of a summer markdown but with some good ground work and a bit of savvy you can nab yourself an amazing bargain and stock your wardrobe with key essentials that will stand the test of time.  Winter sales are a no brainer with coats, boots and all your big ticket items being the ones to watch out for but what are the key pieces to invest in for the warmer months.

Great accessories are always at the top of my summer sale list and I always keep an eye out for sunglasses.  Check out Specsavers for stunning designer frames that will ensure you look super chic when the sun is shining.

Handbags are another great item to watch out for in the summer sales.  I love a good quality raffia bag or a super practical crossbody style that’s perfect for city breaks and park strolls.  Footwear is another area I hit straight away and you can pick up some-wear-with-anything sandals for a fraction of the price.  I also love to pick up an espadrille for less in the sale, Office shoes have a great selection of these and now offer a wide fit range too.

Jewellery is something that never dates so be on the lookout for beautiful, bold cuffs and bangles in gold.  When it comes to clothing you can stock up on summer workwear in the sales and I’ve found some amazing tailoring in Tommy Hilfiger and H&M that has stood the test of time.  Look out for blazers, trousers and beautiful blouses.  Above all prepare and make that list of the gaps in your current wardrobe and don’t be swayed by the impulse buys.

The rules apply to Menswear too. Now is the time to pick up the lighter summer suiting, those smart shorts, cool shirts and your accessories.
