For the second year running, Specsavers Opera Lane has been listed as one of the Top 100 retailers in the country and is now in the running for the ultimate retail accolade – best retailer in Ireland. All the stores listed in the Top 100 were subjected to secret shopper surveys by phone and in person. The store was marked on store appearance, visual merchandising and customer service with the knowledgeable staff in Specsavers, Opera Lane impressing the judges.
David Fitzsimons, Group Chief Executive of Retail Excellence commented, “ The very high standard of service, customer engagement and display among Irish retailers was very evident which made selecting this year’s Top100 particularly difficult. Those named as Top100 finalists have what it takes to shine through and be recognised as the best retailers in the country”.
Other Cork city stores to be shortlisted include Vibes and Scribes, Diana O’Mahony Jewellers, The Kilkenny Shop and Nano Nagle Place.
