This July, staff from the busy Opera Lane Specsavers store, will take on the Irish Cancer Society Marathon in a Month challenge. Their aim is to raise €10,000 to support cancer patient services in Ireland. Over the course of the month they will each complete 42km by walking, jogging or running.
John Morrin, Managing Director, Specsavers, Opera Lane said,
‘We have been overwhelmed and truly touched by the amazing effort from all the team in Specsavers and their participation and fundraising for the vital services that the Irish Cancer Society provide. We are extremely grateful for any donations that anyone can kindly offer in support of our fundraising activity”.
